Privacy Policy

Desdora is operated by Skylar (“Desdora,” “we,” or “us”). This policy explains how information is handled when you use the Desdora iPhone app.

Information handled

When you explicitly agree to AI processing, Desdora processes the decision text and structured decision information needed to provide the feature. This can include options, factors, constraints, estimates, and corrections you enter.

Desdora creates an anonymous service identifier to authenticate AI requests, prevent abuse, and enforce usage limits. This identifier is not a public profile.

If production error reporting is enabled, technical crash, device, application, and performance information may be processed to diagnose failures. Desdora is configured not to intentionally attach decision prompt text to error reports.

Completed results that you choose to save are stored locally on your iPhone. They can include the decision title, ranking, explanation, confidence, priorities, tradeoffs, and what-could-change notes. The original prompt and raw AI responses are not included in saved history.

How information is used

Information is used to structure decisions and generate estimates, calculate and explain results, authenticate requests, prevent abuse, enforce quotas, maintain service reliability, and provide support. Desdora does not use information for cross-app tracking or advertising.

Service providers

Desdora uses Supabase to host the authenticated service and anonymous identity, OpenAI to process consented AI requests, and Sentry for technical error reporting when enabled.

Requests to OpenAI are sent with application-state storage disabled. OpenAI states that API data is not used to train its models by default unless the API customer opts in. OpenAI may retain API content in abuse-monitoring logs under its applicable data controls. Each provider’s processing is also governed by its own terms and privacy documentation.

Your choices

You can decline AI processing. In the app’s Settings & Privacy area, you can withdraw AI permission, delete locally saved results, and delete the anonymous service identity and its associated usage records.

Retention

Local saved results remain until you delete them or remove the app. Anonymous identity and quota records are maintained as needed to operate and protect the service, and can be deleted using the in-app identity deletion control. Technical error data is retained according to the configured Sentry project settings. OpenAI processing is subject to OpenAI’s applicable API data controls.

Children

Desdora is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through Desdora, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

International processing

Service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Their applicable contractual and legal safeguards govern that processing.
